Our Story
Our mission is to research and understand India's future in the global order. Our organization's goal is to identify young leaders and connect them with a network of peers, enrich youth engagement with the international affairs professional community, and finally, up-skill students to be young diplomats.

We were formed in January 2025, in Washington D.C., focusing on a country so diverse you can't possibly cover everything - but a niche so untapped, we had to start somewhere. And thus we began, addressing the market gap of India on campus.

Core Leadership
Core leaders help manage a central vision, overseeing chapters across the United States.
Can I get involved even if my university doesn't have a chapter?
Yes. You can take part in either our journal, Patrika and short-form research missions if you're interested in research.

You can also reach out to the Advisory practice, at evp.wfi@gmail.com for questions regarding being involved with consulting.
I am part of a university chapter. How do I get involved with consulting?
Our Advisory practice launches our inaugural recruitment cycle at the beginning of the semester -- i.e. January 2026 - upon selection, it is followed by an education period, and induction into the Directory of Analysts.
What does the Chapter e-board do?
For the full WFI experience, campus communities are integral.

Chapters organize events - professional, academic, and social and drive the conversation with industry and government leaders.

E-boards organize and expand WFI's footprint on campuses, building a strong community of India and Asia-keen thinkers and future policy leaders.
